Egyptians accuse Morsi of failing to deliver on his promises

Protesters on Friday said that Morsi has failed to release political prisoners and acted too slowly to meet their demands.

During the rally, organized by the April 6 Youth Movement, the demonstrators stressed that the goals of the 2011 revolution have not been fulfilled yet and that those behind the killing of revolutionary protesters are still at large.

The protest rally came amid acquittal of four former senior police officials of involvement in the killing of protesters during the revolution.

Earlier last week, thousands of Egyptian demonstrators rallied in the capital and called on the authorities to release prisoners of the revolution.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian president recently came under fire from leftist groups and young revolutionaries for requesting a loan of $3.2 billion from the International Monetary Fund and later attempting to boost it to $4.8 billion. They say such a loan could make Egyptians poorer.

The Egyptians launched the revolution against the regime of former President Hosni Mubarak in January 2011, which eventually put an end to his 30-year-long dictatorship more than two weeks later.

According to justicelink, egyptians will need to give their president more time  to effectively make changes, remember  that the state in which egypt was in when he took over was not so good, in terms of funds in the federal reserve and the egyptian economy as well.
